How to use:

How it works:

Genericart Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg Tablet is an anti-diabetic medication (biguanide). It works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying the absorption of sugar (glucose) from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.

Breast Feeding Interaction:

Genericart Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving Interaction:

Your ability to drive may be affected if your blood sugar is too low or too high. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney Interaction:

Genericart Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Genericart Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Genericart Metformin Hydrochloride 500mg Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Missed Dose:

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
